JUNE 2017

A big part of being in a band is self-promotion. We have tools like ReverbNation that give us ways to submit to opportunities, many of which only a very few artists are selected. Over time it can be frustrating, but we persist. Well? Persistence pays off. Out of approximately 5000 submissions, we were one of 10 bands selected for Los Angeles Radio station KLOS' "Stay or Go" segment, LIVE ON AIR!

On Friday 6/23 we were featured on the Frosty, Heidi & Frank Morning Show. Our amazing lead singer Chris was interviewed LIVE, before they played our track, "In My Hands." Then the DJs critiqued our song, talked with Chris and took fan phone calls as votes wether Starch Monkey should "Stay" or "Go." We were voted to "STAY!" Which means they played another track, "Take Me Home." We received some great feedback about our music and just really had a fantastic time LIVE with Frosty, Heidi & Frank.

NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please Go on line and VOTE "STAY" for STARCH MONKEY! We are the featured artist for the week of June 23rd. And if we receive a high percentage of "STAY" votes, we could be asked back to play the S.O.G. Fest hosted by KLOS later this year.

MAY 2017

May has been a busy month for Starch Monkey, starting off with the release of our EP “Everything You See.” Our tracks have been getting some great air time from stations like Music Mafia Radio & Boston Rock Radio.  A huge thank you to the program directors out there adding us to their rotations. The EP is available to stream on Spotify, BandCamp, SoundCloud and ReverbNation. Be on the look out for actual CDs available for purchase through our website at StarchMonkey.com.

Right now we’re back in the studio working on new music, developing more promotional materials, like videos for our YouTube Channel and the always fun band photos. We’re also very excited to be holding auditions for our live show in anticipation of hitting the road and playing some great venues in your area.

Thanks again for your support and we look forward to seeing you all on stage!
